We don’t like a bunch of red tape so we keep our policies to the simple common sense variety.

BOOKING APPOINTMENTS:
Spa services are available by appointment only. This does not mean we will not take walk ins, rather it means that we cannot guarantee there will be an opening for a particular service at the precise moment someone decides to drop in ~ and therefore we highly recommend calling beforehand to make an appointment. Many services can be accommodated same day, so please do not hesitate to call for a last minute appointment. We always try our best to fit you in :)

In keeping to our “laid back” vibe, we have never required a credit card to hold your appointment. Instead, we rely on karma. Please book responsibly ~ not on the fly! And if you find that you cannot make your appointment, we appreciate the courtesy of a heads up as soon as possible so that we may have the opportunity fill that appointment time.
We value your time + you value our time = good karma!

PAYMENT
We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX, PERSONAL CHECKS and of course CASH is sure to put a smile on our face :)

REASONABLE CANCELLATIONS
Your appointment is time we’ve reserved exclusively for you. Please value our time as we value yours – be courteous, call us within a reasonable amount of time if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
What is reasonable? 24 hours notice or more is awesome!
8 to 12 hours notice: We still love you!
6 hours or less: Frowned upon. Some of us keep a mental note and charge you for that appointment! We strongly discourage you from canceling your appointment on the day of. It’s just not cool.
We believe: in treating others as you would like to be treated. Good advice for cancellations and life in general :)

Gift Certificate appointments are subject to the same scrutiny as any other appointment, except that we have the option to VOID your certificate if you no show or cancel at the last minute — and we usually do because we can – and because we see to it that your therapist is compensated for her time in the event that you don’t show up, cancel on the day of your appointment or call the night before to cancel any appointment booked before noon. Please be absolutely sure you can make it to your appointment before calling to redeem a gift certificate. We know they look pretty but they’re as good as cash. Cash spent on YOU by someone who loves you… so don’t waste it!

Please understand that “no-shows” and last minute cancellations leave us with empty appointment times that could be filled with other clients trying to get in. For this reason, it is at your therapist’s discretion to charge you for their time if you cancel on the day of your appointment.

REDEEMING GIFT CERTIFICATES:

1. Please book your appointment in advance. Assuring that you’ll get the appointment day and time of your choice requires that you call several days in advance to schedule an appointment.
2. Please give us your gift certificate number when you call to schedule your appointment. This is always to your benefit because your certificate # has additional info attached to it that helps us make sure your experience is nothing short of mind blowing. The certificate # is located on the back of your certificate.
3. Please present your certificate upon arrival, rather than waiting until after your service. It serves as a reminder for your therapist to make sure you’re getting any add-ons etc that may be tied to your certificate.
4. A “no show”, last minute or same day cancellation will VOID your certificate. We see to it that your therapist is compensated for her time in the event that you cancel on the day of your appointment, at the last minute or just don’t show up. Calling the night before to cancel any appointment scheduled before noon will also VOID your certificate. Sorry.
5. Gift certificates should be treated as cash. If lost or stolen they will not be honored or replaced. We cannot redeem a gift certificate without physically receiving it, so please do not ask.
6. TBC gift certificates are good only for dollar amount purchased. If you want to use your certificate for a service other than that which was purchased for you, we will do our best to accommodate you. Some certificates cannot be traded but no matter what, we always do our best to make sure you have a mind blowing experience.
7. Gift certificates cannot:
   • be exchanged for cash
   • be used to purchase skin care products or retail merchandise
   • be transfered to anyone other than the named recipient
8. Partially redeemed certificates will be issued a credit. We do not give cash back on remaining balances.

If you need to move your appointment to an earlier or later time on the same day, we will do our best to accommodate you BUT ~ if we are unable to accommodate your request and the result is that you cannot make it to your scheduled appointment time – the above still applies.
