In the spirit of being a “laid back” spa, we try to keep the policies and rules to a minimum. For this reason, generally our policies are of the common sense variety.

(For example: Our cancellation policy calls for a “reasonable” amount of notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This generally means giving us enough advance notice to allow the possibility of another client scheduling in that spot. Canceling on the day of your appointment is frowned upon, but calling us an hour before or less is just not cool and totally unacceptable! Good advice for appointments and life in general: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you).

BOOKING APPOINTMENTS:

Spa services are available by appointment only. This does not mean we will not take walk ins, rather it means that we cannot guarantee there will be an opening for a particular service at the precise moment someone decides to drop in ~ and therefore we highly recommend calling beforehand to make an appointment. Many services can be accommodated same day or next day, so please do not hesitate to call for a last minute appointment – we always try our best to fit you in :)

We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX and of course CASH is sure to put a smile on our face :)

REDEEMING GIFT CERTIFICATES:

NON-REFUNDABLE | NON-TRANSFERRABLE

1. Please give us your gift certificate # when you call to schedule your appointment. This is always to your benefit because your certificate # has additional info attached to it that helps us make sure your experience is nothing short of mind blowing.
2. Please present your certificate upon arrival, rather than waiting until after your service. Many certificates have add-on treatments included that you will miss out on if we do not know ahead of time, so be sure to present your certificate upon arrival.
3. A “no show”, last minute or same day cancellation will most definitely VOID your certificate because we see to it that your therapist is compensated for her time in the event that you don’t show up, cancel on the day of your appointment or call the night before to cancel a 10am appointment. Sorry.
4. Gift certificates should be treated as cash. If lost or stolen they will not be honored or replaced. We cannot redeem a gift certificate without physically receiving it, so please do not ask.
5. TBC gift certificates are good only for dollar amount purchased. If you want to use your certificate for a service other than that which was purchased for you, we will do our best to accommodate you. Some certificates cannot be traded due to certain circumstances but no matter what, we always do our best to make sure you have a mind blowing experience.
6. Gift certificates cannot:
   • be exchanged for cash
   • be used to purchase skin care products or retail merchandise
   • be transfered to anyone other than the named recipient
7. Partially redeemed certificates will be issued a credit. We do not give cash back on remaining balances.

REASONABLE CANCELLATIONS:

Your appointment is time we’ve reserved exclusively for you. Please value our time as we value yours – be courteous, call us within a reasonable amount of time if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
What is reasonable?
24 hours or more notice: Awesome!
8 to 12 hours notice: We still love you!
6 hours or less: We’re gonna be mad at you… at least for a little while. And some of us keep a mental note and charge you for that appointment! We strongly discourage you from canceling your appointment on the day of. It’s just not cool.

Please understand that “no-shows” and last minute cancellations leave us with empty appointment times that could be filled with other clients trying to get in. For this reason, it is at your therapist’s discretion to charge you for their time if you cancel on the day of your appointment. But we assure you ~ it’s not personal.

Same Day Appointments Calling today for an appointment today? Not a problem unless you call back right before to cancel or don’t show up! In which case, please see above.

Gift Certificates are subject to the same scrutiny as any other appointment, except that we have the option to VOID your certificate if you no show or cancel at the last minute — and we usually do because we can – and because we see to it that your therapist is compensated for her time in the event that you don’t show up, cancel on the day of your appointment or call the night before to cancel a 10am appointment. Sorry. Please be absolutely sure you can make it to your appointment before calling to redeem a gift certificate. We know they look pretty but they’re as good as cash. Cash spent on YOU by someone who loves you… so don’t waste it!

If you need to move your appointment to an earlier or later time on the same day, we will do our best to accommodate you BUT ~ if we are unable to accommodate your request and the result is that you cannot make it to your appointment time – the above still applies.
